Greasy Weasels (92) at Z-Squad (63)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Oct 20, 2008) In a week 7 UFFLE battle, Greasy Weasels embarrassed a hapless Z-Squad team by a score of 92 to 63.

Greasy Weasels were led to their 29 point victory by a 22 point effort from Chris Johnson, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 168 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 4 receiving yards. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Philip Rivers, who got by the Buffalo Bills defense for 208 passing yards and 2 passing tds.

“We snatched victory out of the jaws of defeat,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.

Z-Squad were helped out in a losing cause by a 18 point effort from Jeff Garcia, who beat the Seattle Seahawks defense for 310 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 8 rushing yards. With this performance, Garcia was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 7. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Brandon Jacobs, who snuck past the San Francisco 49ers defense for 69 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 6 receiving yards.

“The final score is the only statistic that matters,” Z-Squad coach Michael Grosz said.

This brings the record for Greasy Weasels to 3-5, and drops Z-Squad to a record of 5-1-2.

Coming up in week 8, the 3-4-1 The Wondrful Gazonks are at Greasy Weasels, where Greasy Weasels are an early 28.5-point favorite, while the 6-2 Twee Twerps are at Z-Squad, where Z-Squad are an early 7.5-point underdog.
