Z-Squad (58) at Elvis Impersonators (87)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 24, 2008) In a week 12 UFFLE classic, Elvis Impersonators embarrassed a hapless Z-Squad team by a score of 87 to 58, extending the winning streak for Elvis Impersonators to 4 games.

Elvis Impersonators were led to their 29 point victory by a 35 point effort from Michael Turner, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 117 rushing yards and 4 rushing tds. With this performance, Turner was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 12. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Kurt Warner, who tore apart the New York Giants defense for 351 passing yards and 1 passing td.

“This team shows a lot of resiliency,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.

Z-Squad were helped out in a losing cause by a 14 point effort from the Buffalo Bills Defensive Team. With this performance, the Bills was the number 5 ranked defensive team for week 12. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Jeff Garcia, who snuck past the Detroit Lions defense for 165 passing yards and 2 passing tds.

“They out-hustled us,” Z-Squad coach Michael Grosz said.

Causing further embarrassment, Z-Squad could have scored 100 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Michael Grosz left key players like Lance Moore and his corresponding 23 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 11-4, and drops Z-Squad to a record of 9-4-2.

Coming up in week 13, the 8-7 Greasy Weasels are at Elvis Impersonators, where Elvis Impersonators are an early 5.5-point favorite, while Z-Squad are at the 7-7-1 The Wondrful Gazonks, where The Wondrful Gazonks are an early 3.5-point underdog.
