(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Sep 27, 2010) In a week 3 UFFLE intra-divisional classic, Grid Iron Bullies squeaked by a tough Greasy Weasels team by a score of 75 to 71, extending the losing streak for Greasy Weasels to 3 games.

Grid Iron Bullies were led to their 4 point victory by a 19 point effort from Matt Ryan, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 228 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 26 rushing yards. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Thomas Jones, who got by the San Francisco 49ers defense for 95 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 1 receiving yards.

“This win is for all the fans,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.

Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 24 point effort from Chris Johnson, who beat the New York Giants defense for 125 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. With this performance, Johnson was the number 2 ranked running back for week 3. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Matt Schaub, who got by the Dallas Cowboys defense for 241 passing yards and 1 passing TD.

“Give them all the credit,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.

Compounding the issue, Greasy Weasels could have scored 110 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mason Mannie left key players like Kyle Orton and his corresponding 27 points on the bench.

Grid Iron Bullies took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 9 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 3.

This brings the record for Grid Iron Bullies to 2-2, and drops Greasy Weasels to a record of 1-3.

With this performance, McCoy was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 2. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Peyton Manning, who got by the New York Giants defense for 255 passing yards and 3 passing TDs.

“They gave us a big scare,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.

Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 33 point effort from Matt Schaub, who tore apart the Washington Redskins defense for 497 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 2 rushing yards. With this performance, Schaub was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 2. “Our fans were the 12th man today,” Twee Twerps coach Bob Filipy said.

The Wondrful Gazonks were helped out in a losing cause by a 15 point effort from Tim Hightower, who snuck past the St. Louis Rams defense for 54 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 40 receiving yards. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Ronnie Brown, who snuck past the Buffalo Bills defense for 65 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 20 receiving yards.

“I tip my hat to them,” The Wondrful Gazonks coach Josh Vadnais said.
