Z-Squad were led to their 5 point victory by a 48 point effort from Michael Vick, who beat the Washington Redskins defense for 333 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 80 rushing yards. With this performance, Vick was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 10. In addition, Vick entered the UFFLE Hall Of Fame with this performance as the 2nd-ranked individual weekly player score in league history. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Frank Gore, who got by the St. Louis Rams defense for 87 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 67 receiving yards.
“It was a workman-like effort,” Z-Squad coach Michael Grosz said.
The Undergarments were helped out in a losing cause by a 26 point effort from Mark Sanchez, who got by the Cleveland Browns defense for 299 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 4 rushing yards. They also got help from a 25 point effort from Roddy White, who beat the Baltimore Ravens defense for 138 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
“We only have to look in the mirror,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Adding salt to the wound, The Undergarments could have scored 106 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Eric Overgaard left key players like Dan Carpenter and his corresponding 12 points on the bench.
The Undergarments drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 11 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 10.
This brings the record for Z-Squad to 10-1, and drops The Undergarments to a record of 5-6.
