Elvis Impersonators (84) at Grid Iron Bullies (86)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Dec 18, 2017) In a week 15 UFFLE battle, Grid Iron Bullies squeaked by a tough Elvis Impersonators team by a score of 86 to 84, silencing a partisan crowd of 65,856 at Graceland.

Grid Iron Bullies were led to their 2 point victory by a 19 point effort from Dak Prescott, who got by the Oakland Raiders defense for 212 passing yards in addition to 32 rushing yards. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Michael Crabtree, who snuck past the Dallas Cowboys defense for 39 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.

“This team shows a lot of poise,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.

Elvis Impersonators were helped out in a losing cause by a 21 point effort from Le’Veon Bell, who beat the New England Patriots defense for 117 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 48 receiving yards. With this performance, Bell was the number 6 ranked running back for week 15. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Drew Brees, who got by the New York Jets defense for 281 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.

“We didn’t get the big breaks today,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.

Compounding the issue, Elvis Impersonators could have scored 100 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Brandon Mannie left key players like Greg Olsen and his corresponding 17 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Grid Iron Bullies to 9-4, and drops Elvis Impersonators to a record of 9-4.

Coming up in week 16, Grid Iron Bullies are at the 9-4 Vinny’s Gang, where Vinny’s Gang are an early 17.1-point favorite.
