Congratulations to Chris Johnson for winning this year’s MVP and Percy Harvin for winning this year’s Rookie of the Year.

I think I have all the playoff possibilities figured out. There are basically five teams vying for four spots. Since the Greasy Weasels, and San Quentin Saints have the tie-breaker over the Z-Squad they have clinched already. That leaves three teams vying for two spots.

Just a reminder that keepers are due by the end of the day on Saturday, August 1st. I will be on vacation that weekend, so I am not sure if I will able to announce the keepers as they come in, but will try my best.

We just had our first transaction of the 2009 season. I am in the process of getting the 2009 site set up. It is mostly done and can be found at http://2009.uffle.com. I have updated some of the links on the left and the MFL, Google, and My Yahoo RSS feeds.

Nobody seems to have a problem with August 16th for a draft date, so I am going to make it official. The Draft with be on August 16th at 10:00 AM CDT.

We had a three way tie for MVP, so I am opening up another poll to try to break the tie. Co-MVPs would be fine, but three? If there is still a tie after this poll, then we will just have three MVPs. I am really getting annoyed by ties this season.

The playoffs are set. Squishy Fuzz got the first seed. Elvis Impersonators got the second seed. They both get a first round bye.
The third seed Twee Twerps will play the sixth seed The Slim Shaggys, and the fourth seed San Quentin Saints will play the Fifth seed Z-Squad.
