The Undergarments were led to their 17 point victory by a 30 point effort from Marshawn Lynch, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 128 rushing yards and 3 rushing TDs. With this performance, Lynch was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 14. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Danario Alexander, who got by the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 88 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
“This is the greatest feeling in the world,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from Jamaal Charles, who beat the Cleveland Browns defense for 165 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD. With this performance, Charles was the number 4 ranked running back for week 14. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the New York Giants defense for 354 passing yards and 1 passing TD.
“We only have to look in the mirror,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
Compounding the issue, Bad Attitudes could have scored 127 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Steve Spickenreuther left key players like Knowshon Moreno and his corresponding 21 points on the bench.
Bad Attitudes drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 10 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 14.
This brings the record for The Undergarments to 8-5, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 7-6.
Coming up in week 15, The Undergarments are at the 8-5 Greasy Weasels, where Greasy Weasels are an early 7.8-point favorite.
