Elvis Impersonators were led to their 55 point victory by a 28 point effort from Michael Turner, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 104 rushing yards and 3 rushing tds. With this performance, Turner was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 3. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Larry Johnson, who beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 121 rushing yards and 1 rushing td.
“This team shows a lot of character,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 13 point effort from Gus Frerotte, who got by the Carolina Panthers defense for 204 passing yards and 1 passing td. They also got help from a 11 point effort from Shayne Graham, who snuck past the New York Giants defense for 3 field goals made and 2 extra points.
“We didn’t get the job done,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 2-2, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 1-3.
Coming up in week 4, Elvis Impersonators are at the 1-3 Vinny’s Gang, where Vinny’s Gang are an early 30.2-point underdog, while the 2-0-2 Z-Squad are at Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 28.8-point underdog.
