They also got help from a 19 point effort from Chris Johnson, who snuck past the Minnesota Vikings defense for 61 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 14 receiving yards.
“This team has served notice,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 19 point effort from Edgerrin James, who snuck past the New York Jets defense for 29 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 37 receiving yards. With this performance, James was the number 5 ranked running back for week 4. They also got help from a 12 point effort from Michael Bush, who snuck past the San Diego Chargers defense for 48 rushing yards in addition to 80 receiving yards.
“We came out flat,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.
This brings the record for Greasy Weasels to 2-3, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 0-4-1.
