Elvis Impersonators were led to their 31 point victory by a 22 point effort from Kurt Warner, who tore apart the Seattle Seahawks defense for 395 passing yards and 1 passing td. With this performance, Warner was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 11. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Michael Turner, who got by the Denver Broncos defense for 81 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds.
“It was a total team effort,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 12 point effort from Greg Jennings, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 64 receiving yards and 1 receiving td. They also got help from a 8 point effort from Chris Johnson, who snuck past the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 64 rushing yards in addition to 24 receiving yards.
“We didn’t maintain the intensity for the entire 60 minutes,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 9-4, and drops Greasy Weasels to a record of 6-7.
