The Slim Shaggys were led to their 13 point victory by a 24 point effort from DeAngelo Williams, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 120 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds. With this performance, Williams was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 11. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Maurice Jones-Drew, who snuck past the Tennessee Titans defense for 66 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 27 receiving yards.
“It was a total team effort,” The Slim Shaggys coach Mark Olson said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 17 point effort from Dwayne Bowe, who snuck past the New Orleans Saints defense for 53 receiving yards and 2 receiving tds. With this performance, Bowe was the number 4 ranked wide receiver for week 11. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Joe Flacco, who snuck past the New York Giants defense for 164 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 57 rushing yards.
“I don’t want to point fingers,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.
This brings the record for The Slim Shaggys to 6-4-3, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 1-11-1.
