Twee Twerps were led to their 23 point victory by a 20 point effort from T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who beat the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 149 receiving yards and 1 receiving td. With this performance, Houshmandzadeh was the number 2 ranked wide receiver for week 11. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Leon Washington, who snuck past the New England Patriots defense for 18 rushing yards in addition to 17 receiving yards.
“It was a hard-fought contest,” Twee Twerps coach Bob Filipy said.
The Wondrful Gazonks were helped out in a losing cause by a 21 point effort from Tyler Thigpen, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 235 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 45 rushing yards. With this performance, Thigpen was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 11. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Anquan Boldin, who tore apart the Seattle Seahawks defense for 186 receiving yards in addition to 3 rushing yards.
“Turnovers killed us,” The Wondrful Gazonks coach Josh Vadnais said.
This brings the record for Twee Twerps to 9-3-1, and drops The Wondrful Gazonks to a record of 6-6-1.
