The Hellfish were led to their 22 point victory by a 26 point effort from Matt Forte, who beat the St. Louis Rams defense for 132 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 14 receiving yards. With this performance, Forte was the number 2 ranked running back for week 12. They also got help from a 24 point effort from Jake Delhomme, who got by the Atlanta Falcons defense for 295 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 18 rushing yards.
“We weren’t going to just lie down,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.
Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 30 point effort from Randy Moss, who beat the Miami Dolphins defense for 125 receiving yards and 3 receiving tds. With this performance, Moss was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 12. They also got help from a 8 point effort from BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who snuck past the Miami Dolphins defense for 20 rushing yards and 1 rushing td.
“Turnovers killed us,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
This brings the record for The Hellfish to 5-10, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 2-13.
Coming up in week 13, the 10-3-2 San Quentin Saints are at The Hellfish, where The Hellfish are an early 12.3-point underdog, while the 1-13-1 Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are at Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 3.3-point favorite.
