Bad Attitudes were led to their 7 point victory by a 14 point effort from Ryan Fitzpatrick, who snuck past the New York Jets defense for 191 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 9 rushing yards. They also got help from a 13 point effort from Michael Turner, who snuck past the Indianapolis Colts defense for 71 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 7 receiving yards.
“It was a workman-like effort,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 17 point effort from LeSean McCoy, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 71 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 46 receiving yards. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Robbie Gould, who snuck past the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 3 field goals made and 3 extra points.
“He always has his team ready to play,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
Causing further embarrassment, Vinny’s Gang could have scored 82 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jon Steffan left key players like Pierre Thomas and his corresponding 14 points on the bench.
Bad Attitudes took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 9 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 9.
This brings the record for Bad Attitudes to 8-2, and drops Vinny’s Gang to a record of 5-5.
