Vinny’s Gang were led to their 6 point victory by a 31 point effort from Matthew Stafford, who tore apart the Oakland Raiders defense for 391 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards. With this performance, Stafford was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 15. They also got help from a 28 point effort from LeSean McCoy, who beat the New York Jets defense for 102 rushing yards and 3 rushing TDs.
“We feel fortunate,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
The Hellfish were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from Donald Brown, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 161 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 2 receiving yards. With this performance, Brown was the number 4 ranked running back for week 15. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Ben Roethlisberger, who beat the San Francisco 49ers defense for 330 passing yards.
“We only have to look in the mirror,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.
Coming up in week 16, Vinny’s Gang are at the 14-2 San Quentin Saints, where San Quentin Saints are an early 6.9-point favorite.
