The Undergarments were led to their 3 point victory by a 20 point effort from Marshawn Lynch, who beat the New York Jets defense for 124 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 27 receiving yards. With this performance, Lynch was the number 3 ranked running back for week 10. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Russell Wilson, who snuck past the New York Jets defense for 188 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 34 rushing yards.
“We’re going to savor this victory,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Z-Squad were helped out in a losing cause by a 29 point effort from Matt Ryan, who tore apart the New Orleans Saints defense for 411 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 2 rushing yards. With this performance, Ryan was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 10. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Denarius Moore, who got by the Baltimore Ravens defense for 90 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“We weren’t mentally prepared,” Z-Squad coach Michael Grosz said.
Adding salt to the wound, Z-Squad could have scored 98 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Michael Grosz left key players like Stevan Ridley and his corresponding 15 points on the bench.
This brings the record for The Undergarments to 7-3, and drops Z-Squad to a record of 7-3.
