Bad Attitudes were led to their 6 point victory by a 25 point effort from Reggie Bush, who got by the Minnesota Vikings defense for 90 rushing yards in addition to 101 receiving yards. With this performance, Bush was the number 2 ranked running back for week 1. They also got help from a 23 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Atlanta Falcons defense for 357 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 2 rushing yards.
“This team shows a lot of pride,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
Elvis Impersonators were helped out in a losing cause by a 31 point effort from Colin Kaepernick, who tore apart the Green Bay Packers defense for 412 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 22 rushing yards. With this performance, Kaepernick was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 1. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Brandon Marshall, who beat the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 104 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“Not to take away anything from our opponents, but we didn’t play like we’re capable of playing,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Causing further embarrassment, Elvis Impersonators could have scored 121 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Brandon Mannie left key players like Jordan Cameron and his corresponding 16 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Bad Attitudes to 1-0, and drops Elvis Impersonators to a record of 0-1.
Coming up in week 2, Elvis Impersonators are at the 0-1 Twee Twerps, where Twee Twerps are an early 23.0-point underdog, while the 1-0 Greasy Weasels are at Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 16-point favorite.
