Grid Iron Bullies were led to their 2 point victory by a 31 point effort from Andrew Luck, who tore apart the Tennessee Titans defense for 393 passing yards and 4 passing TDs. With this performance, Luck was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 4. They also got help from a 23 point effort from the Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Team.
“This team shows a lot of pride,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
The Undergarments were helped out in a losing cause by a 27 point effort from Philip Rivers, who tore apart the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 377 passing yards and 3 passing TDs. With this performance, Rivers was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 4. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Terrance Williams, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 77 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
“We didn’t maintain the intensity for the entire 60 minutes,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Causing further embarrassment, The Undergarments could have scored 135 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Eric Overgaard left key players like Matt Asiata and his corresponding 27 points on the bench.
The Undergarments drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 12 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 4.
This brings the record for Grid Iron Bullies to 3-1, and drops The Undergarments to a record of 2-2.
