With this performance, Brees was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 5. They also got help from a 18 point effort from DeMarco Murray, who beat the Houston Texans defense for 136 rushing yards in addition to 56 receiving yards.
“This team has finally learned how to win,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
Elvis Impersonators were helped out in a losing cause by a 30 point effort from Austin Davis, who tore apart the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 375 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 30 rushing yards. With this performance, Davis was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 5. They also got help from a 24 point effort from Eddie Lacy, who beat the Minnesota Vikings defense for 105 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 27 receiving yards.
“We got a wake-up call,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Elvis Impersonators drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 10 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 5.
This brings the record for Bad Attitudes to 4-1, and drops Elvis Impersonators to a record of 2-3.
