Twee Twerps were led to their 1 point victory by a 23 point effort from Antonio Brown, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 97 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Brown was the number 6 ranked wide receiver for week 13. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Jay Cutler, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 280 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.
“We proved we’re the better team,” Twee Twerps coach Bob Filipy said.
Squishy Fuzz were helped out in a losing cause by a 33 point effort from Tre Mason, who beat the Oakland Raiders defense for 117 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 47 receiving yards. With this performance, Mason was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 13. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Tom Brady, who got by the Green Bay Packers defense for 245 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.
“These guys have nothing to be ashamed of,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
Adding salt to the wound, Squishy Fuzz could have scored 116 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Scott Stanina left key players like Ben Roethlisberger and his corresponding 29 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Twee Twerps to 10-3, and drops Squishy Fuzz to a record of 6-7.
