Squishy Fuzz were led to their 1 point victory by a 24 point effort from Joe Flacco, who got by the Cleveland Browns defense for 296 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 3 rushing yards. They also got help from a 10 point effort from Jordan Howard, who got by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 100 rushing yards.
“I was just doing my job,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 18 point effort from Jordy Nelson, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 126 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Nelson was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 10. They also got help from a 11 point effort from Matt Bryant, who beat the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 3 field goals made.
“They ate our lunch,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.
Compounding the issue, Hot Buttered Moose Nuts could have scored 68 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jeremy Griffith left key players like Will Tye and his corresponding 5 points on the bench.
Squishy Fuzz took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 9 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 10.
This brings the record for Squishy Fuzz to 7-3, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 4-6.
