October Hunters were led to their 3 point victory by a 31 point effort from Kirk Cousins, who tore apart the Dallas Cowboys defense for 449 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 2 rushing yards. With this performance, Cousins was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 12. They also got help from a 11 point effort from Delanie Walker, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 50 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“Our fans were the 12th man today,” October Hunters coach Orion Bell said.
Grid Iron Bullies were helped out in a losing cause by a 21 point effort from Dak Prescott, who snuck past the Washington Redskins defense for 195 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 39 rushing yards. They also got help from a 8 point effort from DeMarco Murray, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 43 rushing yards in addition to 41 receiving yards.
“They stepped up and made the plays,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
Compounding the issue, Grid Iron Bullies could have scored 94 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Eric Bell left key players like Tyreek Hill and his corresponding 23 points on the bench.
October Hunters took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 11 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 12.
This brings the record for October Hunters to 6-6, and drops Grid Iron Bullies to a record of 6-6.
Coming up in week 13, the 6-6 Greasy Weasels are at October Hunters, where October Hunters are an early 13.0-point underdog, while the 3-9 Z-Squad are at Grid Iron Bullies, where Grid Iron Bullies are an early 11.6-point favorite.
