Grid Iron Bullies were led to their 10 point victory by a 21 point effort from Dak Prescott, who got by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 279 passing yards in addition to 20 rushing yards. With this performance, Prescott was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 15. They also got help from a 13 point effort from DeMarco Murray, who got by the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 89 rushing yards in addition to 52 receiving yards.
“We came to play,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
Twee Twerps were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from David Johnson, who snuck past the New Orleans Saints defense for 53 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 55 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 4 ranked running back for week 15. They also got help from a 13 point effort from Derek Carr, who got by the San Diego Chargers defense for 213 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 5 rushing yards.
“We got a wake-up call,” Twee Twerps coach Bob Filipy said.
Compounding the issue, Twee Twerps could have scored 105 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Bob Filipy left key players like Derrick Henry and his corresponding 17 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Grid Iron Bullies to 7-6, and drops Twee Twerps to a record of 10-3.
