Squishy Fuzz were led to their 1 point victory by a 13 point effort from Ben Roethlisberger, who got by the Baltimore Ravens defense for 216 passing yards and 1 passing TD. They also got help from a 12 point effort from Jordan Howard, who snuck past the Green Bay Packers defense for 53 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 10 receiving yards.
“We weren’t going to just lie down,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
The Wondrful Gazonks were helped out in a losing cause by a 30 point effort from Russell Wilson, who got by the Indianapolis Colts defense for 295 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 38 rushing yards. With this performance, Wilson was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 4. They also got help from a 10 point effort from Jacquizz Rodgers, who got by the New York Giants defense for 83 rushing yards in addition to 25 receiving yards.
“I’m really proud of our guys,” The Wondrful Gazonks coach Josh Vadnais said.
Adding salt to the wound, The Wondrful Gazonks could have scored 78 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Josh Vadnais left key players like Cameron Brate and his corresponding 14 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Squishy Fuzz to 2-2, and drops The Wondrful Gazonks to a record of 0-4.
