(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Oct 23, 2017) In a week 7 UFFLE intra-divisional matchup, Greasy Weasels beat a strong Z-Squad team by a score of 69 to 59, extending the winning streak for Greasy Weasels to 5 games.
Greasy Weasels were led to their 10 point victory by a 15 point effort from Philip Rivers, who snuck past the Denver Broncos defense for 183 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 13 point effort from Jake Elliott, who beat the Washington Redskins defense for 2 field goals made and 4 extra points.
“It hasn’t sunk in yet,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Z-Squad were helped out in a losing cause by a 16 point effort from the Jacksonville Jaguars Defensive Team. With this performance, the Jaguars was the number 3 ranked defensive team for week 7. They also got help from a 10 point effort from Marcus Mariota, who got by the Cleveland Browns defense for 203 passing yards in addition to 8 rushing yards.
“I don’t want to point fingers,” Z-Squad coach Michael Grosz said.
Adding salt to the wound, Z-Squad could have scored 74 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Michael Grosz left key players like Andy Dalton and his corresponding 13 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Greasy Weasels to 6-1, and drops Z-Squad to a record of 3-4.
Coming up in week 8, the 3-4 Squishy Fuzz are at Z-Squad, where Z-Squad are an early 12.6-point underdog, while Greasy Weasels are at the 4-3 The Undergarments, where The Undergarments are an early 19.9-point favorite.
