The Slim Shaggys were led to their 10.30 point victory by a 33.35 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who tore apart the Minnesota Vikings defense for 385 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 21 rushing yards. With this performance, Rodgers was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 11. They also got help from a 21.40 point effort from Nick Chubb, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 130 rushing yards in addition to 14 receiving yards.
“We’re not going to rest on our laurels,” The Slim Shaggys coach Mark Olson said.
Z-Squad were helped out in a losing cause by a 26.05 point effort from Cam Newton, who snuck past the Washington FootballTeam defense for 189 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 46 rushing yards. With this performance, Newton was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 11. They also got help from a 18.20 point effort from Mike Williams, who got by the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 97 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“We weren’t mentally prepared,” Z-Squad coach Joshua Grosz said.
Causing further embarrassment, Z-Squad could have scored 114.75 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Joshua Grosz left key players like Evan McPherson and his corresponding 21.00 points on the bench.
This brings the record for The Slim Shaggys to 6-5, and drops Z-Squad to a record of 4-7.
