(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 7, 2022) In a week 9 UFFLE intra-divisional contest, the 5-4 Squishy Fuzz beat a tough 5-4 Bad Attitudes team by a score of 129.35 to 115.25, silencing a partisan crowd of 77,697.
Squishy Fuzz were led to their 14.10 point victory by a 53.10 point effort from Joe Mixonn, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 153 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs in addition to 58 receiving yards. With this performance, Mixon was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 9. In addition, Mixon entered the UFFLE Hall Of Fame with this performance as the 1st-ranked individual weekly player score in league history. They also got help from a 31.60 point effort from Davante Adams, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 146 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
“We’re happy we could pull this one out at the end,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 25.60 point effort from Travis Etienne, who beat the Las Vegas Raiders defense for 109 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 17 receiving yards. With this performance, Etienne was the number 3 ranked running back for week 9. They also got help from a 20.05 point effort from Trevor Lawrence, who got by the Las Vegas Raiders defense for 235 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 53 rushing yards.
“We didn’t get the big breaks today,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
Bad Attitudes drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 11 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 9.
This brings the record for Squishy Fuzz to 5-4, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 5-4.
Coming up in week 10, the 1-8 The Lawn Wranglers are at Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 14.3-point favorite, while the 3-6 October Hunters are at Squishy Fuzz, where Squishy Fuzz are an early 23.4-point underdog.
