Elvis Impersonators were led to their 6.10 point victory by a 24.20 point effort from Malik Nabers, who got by the Cleveland Browns defense for 78 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs in addition to 4 rushing yards. With this performance, Nabers was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 3. They also got help from a 21.85 point effort from Justin Fields, who got by the Los Angeles Chargers defense for 245 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 6 rushing yards.
“Our fans were the 12th man today,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Z-Squad were helped out in a losing cause by a 29.90 point effort from Derrick Henry, who beat the Dallas Cowboys defense for 151 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 23 receiving yards. With this performance, Henry was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 3. They also got help from a 17.85 point effort from Kyler Murray, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 207 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 45 rushing yards.
“We didn’t get the job done,” Z-Squad coach Joshua Grosz said.
Causing further embarrassment, Z-Squad could have scored 94.95 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Joshua Grosz left key players like Jerry Jeudy and his corresponding 6.70 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 1-2, and drops Z-Squad to a record of 1-2.
Coming up in week 4, the 1-2 Greasy Weasels are at Elvis Impersonators, where Elvis Impersonators are an early 4-point favorite, while Z-Squad are at the 2-1 October Hunters, where October Hunters are an early 12.8-point underdog.
