(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 18, 2024) In a week 11 UFFLE contest, the 6-5 Elvis Impersonators squeaked by a strong 8-3 October Hunters team by a score of 114.25 to 112.05, silencing a partisan crowd of 76,393 at The Hunting Grounds.
Elvis Impersonators were led to their 2.20 point victory by a 41.70 point effort from Taysom Hill, who snuck past the Cleveland Browns defense for 50 receiving yards in addition to 138 rushing yards. With this performance, Hill was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 11. In addition, Hill entered the UFFLE Hall Of Fame with this performance as the 24th-ranked individual weekly player score in league history and the all time top scoring TE. They also got help from a 23.85 point effort from Jordan Love, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 261 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 18 rushing yards.
“We’re tickled to death,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
October Hunters were helped out in a losing cause by a 27.85 point effort from Bo Nix, who beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 307 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards. With this performance, Nix was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 11. They also got help from a 21.40 point effort from Josh Jacobs, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 76 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 58 receiving yards.
“We don’t care about moral victories,” October Hunters coach Orion Bell said.
Compounding the issue, October Hunters could have scored 135.60 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Orion Bell left key players like Jared Goff and his corresponding 34.70 points on the bench.
October Hunters drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 11 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 11.
This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 6-5, and drops October Hunters to a record of 8-3.
Coming up in week 12, October Hunters are at the 2-9 Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 17.9-point underdog, while the 3-8 Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are at Elvis Impersonators, where Elvis Impersonators are an early 35.2-point underdog.
