Grid Iron Bullies were helped out in a losing cause by a 17.50 point effort from Kenneth Walker III, who snuck past the New Orleans Saints defense for 38 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 12 receiving yards. They also got help from a 14.40 point effort from Patrick Mahomes, who got by the New York Giants defense for 224 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 2 rushing yards.
“We can still hold our heads high,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
Causing further embarrassment, Grid Iron Bullies could have scored 77.20 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Eric Bell left key players like Kareem Hunt and his corresponding 10.90 points on the bench.
The Slim Shaggys took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 12 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 3.
This brings the record for The Slim Shaggys to 2-1, and drops Grid Iron Bullies to a record of 1-2.
