Twee Twerps were led to their 6 point victory by a 26 point effort from Robert Griffin III, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 323 passing yards in addition to 43 rushing yards. “You’ve got to hand it to them,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.

Causing further embarrassment, Vinny’s Gang could have scored 106 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jon Steffan left key players like Danny Amendola and his corresponding 22 points on the bench.

“We didn’t maintain the intensity for the entire 60 minutes,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.

Adding salt to the wound, Elvis Impersonators could have scored 106 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Brandon Mannie left key players like Joe Flacco and his corresponding 20 points on the bench.

Elvis Impersonators drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 10 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 1.
