Vinny’s Gang (75.6) at Grid Iron Bullies (76.3)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Sep 17, 2012) In a week 2 UFFLE rivalry, Grid Iron Bullies squeaked by a tough Vinny’s Gang team by a score of 76.3 to 75.6, behind the support of 65,175 faithful fans at THE LAND OF ASS KICKING STADIUM.

Frank Gore

Grid Iron Bullies were led to their 0.7 point victory by a 16.5 point effort from Frank Gore, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 89 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 16 receiving yards. They also got help from a 12.9 point effort from DeAngelo Williams, who snuck past the New Orleans Saints defense for 69 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD.

“I’m really proud of the way our guys hung in there,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.

Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 15.5 point effort from Matthew Stafford, who got by the San Francisco 49ers defense for 230 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 10 rushing yards. They also got help from a 14.9 point effort from LeSean McCoy, who got by the Baltimore Ravens defense for 81 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 8 receiving yards.

“You’ve got to hand it to them,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.

Causing further embarrassment, Vinny’s Gang could have scored 106 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jon Steffan left key players like Danny Amendola and his corresponding 22 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Grid Iron Bullies to 2-0, and drops Vinny’s Gang to a record of 1-1.

Coming up in week 3, Grid Iron Bullies are at the 1-1 San Quentin Saints, where San Quentin Saints are an early 5-point favorite, while the 1-1 Bad Attitudes are at Vinny’s Gang, where Vinny’s Gang are an early 11-point favorite.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Sep 11, 2012) In a week 1 UFFLE intra-divisional showdown, Vinny’s Gang squeaked by a tough Elvis Impersonators team by a score of 93 to 90, behind the support of 72,625 faithful fans.

Julio Jones

Vinny’s Gang were led to their 3 point victory by a 22 point effort from Julio Jones, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 108 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Jones was the number 2 ranked wide receiver for week 1. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Matthew Stafford, who tore apart the St. Louis Rams defense for 355 passing yards and 1 passing TD.

“It feels great to be world champions,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.

Elvis Impersonators were helped out in a losing cause by a 19 point effort from Arian Foster, who got by the Miami Dolphins defense for 79 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Matt Forte, who got by the Indianapolis Colts defense for 80 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 40 receiving yards.

“We didn’t maintain the intensity for the entire 60 minutes,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.

Adding salt to the wound, Elvis Impersonators could have scored 106 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Brandon Mannie left key players like Joe Flacco and his corresponding 20 points on the bench.

Elvis Impersonators drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 10 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 1.

This brings the record for Vinny’s Gang to 1-0, and drops Elvis Impersonators to a record of 0-1.

Coming up in week 2, Vinny’s Gang are at the 1-0 Grid Iron Bullies, where Grid Iron Bullies are an early 15.0-point underdog, while Elvis Impersonators are at the 1-0 The Wondrful Gazonks, where The Wondrful Gazonks are an early 7.0-point underdog.
