San Quentin Saints (82) at Greasy Weasels (77)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Sep 19, 2011) In a week 2 UFFLE intra-divisional matchup, San Quentin Saints squeaked by a tough Greasy Weasels team by a score of 82 to 77, silencing a partisan crowd of 68,981.

San Quentin Saints were led to their 5 point victory by a 23 point effort from Tony Romo, who beat the San Francisco 49ers defense for 345 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Ray Rice, who snuck past the Tennessee Titans defense for 43 rushing yards in addition to 53 receiving yards.

“It was a hard-fought contest,” San Quentin Saints coach Sean Boggess said.

Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 15 point effort from Andre Johnson, who got by the Miami Dolphins defense for 93 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Kyle Orton, who snuck past the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 195 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.

“We didn’t get the big breaks today,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.

Adding salt to the wound, Greasy Weasels could have scored 114 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mason Mannie left key players like Sam Bradford and his corresponding 20 points on the bench.

This brings the record for San Quentin Saints to 2-0, and drops Greasy Weasels to a record of 0-2.

Elvis Impersonators were led to their 1 point victory by a 22 point effort from Philip Rivers, who beat the Minnesota Vikings defense for 335 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 13 point effort from Robbie Gould, who snuck past the Atlanta Falcons defense for 3 field goals made and 3 extra points.

“You dream about this as a kid,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.

Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 25 point effort from LeSean McCoy, who beat the St. Louis Rams defense for 122 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 15 receiving yards. With this performance, McCoy was the number 3 ranked running back for week 1. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Miles Austin, who got by the New York Jets defense for 90 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

“We weren’t mentally prepared,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.

Causing further embarrassment, Vinnys Gang could have scored 116 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jon Steffan left key players like Matthew Stafford and his corresponding 24 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 1-0, and drops Vinny’s Gang to a record of 0-1.
