The Slim Shaggys will be keeping Clinton Portis, Chris Chambers, and Maurice Jones-Drew. They will be giving up their 1st, 3rd, and 8th round picks.

Vinny’s Gang will be keeping Peyton Manning, Ladell Betts, and Devery Henderson. They will be giving up their 1st, 7th, and 8th round picks.

Elvis Impersonators will be keeping Larry Johnson, Carson Palmer, and Roy Williams. They will be giving up their 2nd, 4th, and 6th round picks.

Squishy Fuzz will be keeping Javon Walker, Marion Barber, and Jon Kitna. They will be giving up their 3rd, 7th, and 8th round picks.

The Undergarments will be keeping Ladainian Tomlinson, Steve Smith, and Lee Evans. They will be giving up their 1st, 2nd, and 4th round picks.

The Bad Attitudes have announced their keepers. They will be keeping Laurence Maroney, Willis McGahee, and Deion Branch. They will be giving up their 4th, 5th, and 6th round picks.

A few people have emailed me that they wanted to know what players will be free agents this year and wont be able to be kept by their current team. There are only three this year. They are:

Brian Westbrook – Twee Twerps
Randy Moss – Twee Twerps
Rudi Johnson – Vinny’s Gang

Just a reminder, keepers are due one month from today on August 1st. I will announce them as they come in so I get no unfair advantage. Remember the draft is August 12th at Noon central time.

My wife’s league is up to eight members. She is shooting for 10, so she still has two open spots.

Well, I haven’t had any complaints about August 12th for a draft date, so I will make that date official. The draft will be August 12th at noon central time.

If something comes up last minute and you are unable to draft, you have two options. You can either find someone who is not in the league to draft for you from a list of players and a list of what positions to draft each round, or you can let the draft system draft for you. You can enter your draft list and list of what position to draft each round and the system will draft for you.

Also, my wife Alison is still looking for 5 more members for her league.

The 2007 NFL schedule came out last week, so I was able to create the 2007 UFFLE schedule. This season the weeks with no byes are 1,2,3,11,12, and 13, so our double header weeks will be 3,11, and 12.

The 2007 MFL site is setup. You can find it at http://2007.uffle.com. The schedule isn’t set up yet though. To get our bye weeks set up right, I am waiting for the NFL schedule to come out in mid-April before I set up the schedule.

Just as a reminder of the rule changes for next year I though I would post them here:

1. “Doubtful” players will be allowed to be put on IR along with “Out” players.
2. Dropped players will only be locked for 24 hours before being able to be picked up again.
3. Roster size will be shrunk down to 16.
4. We will still draft 19 players and have to cut rosters to 16 after week 2.
