Congratulations to The Undergarments for winning Fantasy Bowl XXIII. After coming up short last year, they won their fourth Winkenbach Trophy this year. They are the second team to win four Winkenbach Trophies. The Undergarments are now 4-3 in Fantasy Bowl games. This was the first Fantasy Bowl appearance for the Grid Iron Bullies.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Dec 26, 2016) In a week 16 UFFLE intra-divisional classic, The Undergarments beat a strong Grid Iron Bullies team by a score of 78 to 63, silencing a partisan crowd of 65,445 at THE LAND OF ASS KICKING STADIUM.
The Undergarments were led to their 15 point victory by a 27 point effort from Blake Bortles, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 325 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 7 rushing yards. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Ezekiel Elliott, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 80 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 12 receiving yards.
“We managed to eke out a win,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Grid Iron Bullies were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from Dak Prescott, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 212 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 35 rushing yards. They also got help from a 12 point effort from Wil Lutz, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 3 field goals made and 2 extra points.
“We didn’t maintain the intensity for the entire 60 minutes,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
Compounding the issue, Grid Iron Bullies could have scored 89 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Eric Bell left key players like Tyreek Hill and his corresponding 15 points on the bench.
