Z-Squad were led to their 35 point victory by a 31 point effort from Willie Parker, who beat the Houston Texans defense for 138 rushing yards and 3 rushing tds. With this performance, Parker was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 1. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Reggie Wayne, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 86 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.
“This is the greatest feeling in the world,” Z-Squad coach Michael Grosz said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 16 point effort from Eli Manning, who got by the Washington Redskins defense for 216 passing yards. They also got help from a 9 point effort from Sidney Rice, who snuck past the Green Bay Packers defense for 31 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.
“We got a wake-up call,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.
This brings the record for Z-Squad to 1-0, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 0-1.
