Z-Squad were led to their 32 point victory by a 25 point effort from Brandon Jacobs, who beat the Seattle Seahawks defense for 136 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 9 receiving yards. With this performance, Jacobs was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 5. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Chris Cooley, who beat the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 109 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.

“We’re tickled to death,” Z-Squad coach Michael Grosz said.

Squishy Fuzz were helped out in a losing cause by a 19 point effort from Drew Brees, who beat the Minnesota Vikings defense for 330 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 6 rushing yards. With this performance, Brees was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 5. They also got help from a 12 point effort from the Chicago Bears Defensive Team.

“We didn’t match their intensity,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.

This brings the record for Z-Squad to 4-0-2, and drops Squishy Fuzz to a record of 5-1.

Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were led to their 29 point victory by a 19 point effort from Eli Manning, who got by the Seattle Seahawks defense for 267 passing yards and 2 passing tds. With this performance, Manning was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 5. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Hines Ward, who got by the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 90 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.

“We brought our A-game,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.

The Wondrful Gazonks were helped out in a losing cause by a 14 point effort from John Carney, who snuck past the Seattle Seahawks defense for 3 field goals made and 5 extra points. With this performance, Carney was the number 2 ranked place kicker for week 5. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Brian Westbrook, who snuck past the Washington Redskins defense for 33 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 51 receiving yards.

“I’m really proud of our guys,” The Wondrful Gazonks coach Josh Vadnais said.

This brings the record for Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to 1-4-1, and drops The Wondrful Gazonks to a record of 2-3-1.

Grid Iron Bullies were led to their 11 point victory by a 18 point effort from Peyton Manning, who got by the Houston Texans defense for 247 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 8 rushing yards. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Devery Henderson, who beat the Minnesota Vikings defense for 104 receiving yards and 1 receiving td in addition to 7 rushing yards.

“This is the greatest feeling in the world,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.

Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 17 point effort from Randy Moss, who beat the San Francisco 49ers defense for 111 receiving yards and 1 receiving td in addition to 2 rushing yards. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Gus Frerotte, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 222 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 4 rushing yards.

“They outplayed us in every phase of the game,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.

Causing further embarrassment, Bad Attitudes could have scored 96 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Steve Spickenreuther left key players like Bernard Berrian and his corresponding 17 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Grid Iron Bullies to 2-4, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 1-5.

Coming up in week 6, the 5-1 Squishy Fuzz are at Grid Iron Bullies, where Grid Iron Bullies are an early 27.3-point underdog, while the 5-0-1 San Quentin Saints are at Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 23.8-point underdog.
