Greasy Weasels were led to their 2 point victory by a 19 point effort from Ahmad Bradshaw, who beat the Chicago Bears defense for 129 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 14 receiving yards. With this performance, Bradshaw was the number 5 ranked running back for week 4. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Matt Schaub, who snuck past the Oakland Raiders defense for 192 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 1 rushing yards.
“This team shows a lot of resiliency,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 21 point effort from Chad Henne, who beat the New England Patriots defense for 302 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. With this performance, Henne was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 4. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Joseph Addai, who snuck past the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 63 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 19 receiving yards.
“Not to take away anything from our opponents, but we didn’t play like we’re capable of playing,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
Compounding the issue, Bad Attitudes could have scored 80 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Steve Spickenreuther left key players like Nate Washington and his corresponding 4 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Greasy Weasels to 2-3, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 1-4.
