Greasy Weasels were led to their 9.55 point victory by a 38.80 point effort from Stefon Diggs, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 148 receiving yards and 3 receiving TDs. With this performance, Diggs was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 2. They also got help from a 9.00 point effort from Robbie Gould, who beat the Seattle Seahawks defense for 2 field goals made and 3 extra points.
“It hasn’t sunk in yet,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Squishy Fuzz were helped out in a losing cause by a 22.60 point effort from Matthew Stafford, who got by the Atlanta Falcons defense for 272 passing yards and 3 passing TDs. They also got help from a 18.80 point effort from Rashod Bateman, who beat the Miami Dolphins defense for 108 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“We came out flat,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
Adding salt to the wound, Squishy Fuzz could have scored 92.70 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Scott Stanina left key players like Tee Higgins and his corresponding 16.10 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Greasy Weasels to 2-0, and drops Squishy Fuzz to a record of 0-2.
