Z-Squad were led to their 21 point victory by a 22 point effort from Frank Gore, who beat the St. Louis Rams defense for 106 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 8 receiving yards. With this performance, Gore was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 11. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Lance Moore, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 102 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.
“The important thing is that we won,” Z-Squad coach Michael Grosz said.
The Wondrful Gazonks were helped out in a losing cause by a 21 point effort from Tyler Thigpen, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 235 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 45 rushing yards. With this performance, Thigpen was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 11. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Anquan Boldin, who tore apart the Seattle Seahawks defense for 186 receiving yards in addition to 3 rushing yards.
“They ate our lunch,” The Wondrful Gazonks coach Josh Vadnais said.
This brings the record for Z-Squad to 9-2-2, and drops The Wondrful Gazonks to a record of 6-6-1.
Coming up in week 12, Z-Squad are at the 9-4 Elvis Impersonators, where Elvis Impersonators are an early 10.6-point favorite, while The Wondrful Gazonks are at the 10-2-1 Squishy Fuzz, where Squishy Fuzz are an early 25.2-point favorite, while Z-Squad are at the 3-10 The Hellfish, where The Hellfish are an early 12.3-point underdog, while The Wondrful Gazonks are at the 7-6 The Undergarments, where The Undergarments are an early 11.1-point favorite.
