The Undergarments were led to their 42 point victory by a 19 point effort from Roddy White, who beat the Green Bay Packers defense for 132 receiving yards and 1 receiving td. With this performance, White was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 5. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Lee Evans, who got by the Arizona Cardinals defense for 100 receiving yards and 1 receiving td in addition to 22 rushing yards.
“We’ll use this win as a stepping stone to the next level,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 14 point effort from Greg Jennings, who got by the Atlanta Falcons defense for 87 receiving yards and 1 receiving td. They also got help from a 11 point effort from Robbie Gould, who snuck past the Detroit Lions defense for 2 field goals made and 4 extra points.
“We got a wake-up call,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
This brings the record for The Undergarments to 5-1, and drops Greasy Weasels to a record of 2-4.
Coming up in week 6, Greasy Weasels are at the 1-4-1 The Slim Shaggys, where The Slim Shaggys are an early 21.2-point underdog, while the 4-0-2 Z-Squad are at The Undergarments, where The Undergarments are an early 6.8-point favorite.
