San Quentin Saints (85) at Bad Attitudes (73)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Oct 13, 2008) In a week 6 UFFLE intra-divisional showdown, San Quentin Saints beat a strong Bad Attitudes team by a score of 85 to 73, extending the winning streak for San Quentin Saints to 3 games.

San Quentin Saints were led to their 12 point victory by a 25 point effort from Thomas Jones, who snuck past the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 65 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 13 receiving yards. With this performance, Jones was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 6. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who got by the San Francisco 49ers defense for 280 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 4 rushing yards.

“It hasn’t sunk in yet,” San Quentin Saints coach Sean Boggess said.

Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 23 point effort from Correll Buckhalter, who got by the San Francisco 49ers defense for 93 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 85 receiving yards. With this performance, Buckhalter was the number 5 ranked running back for week 6. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Bernard Berrian, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 131 receiving yards and 1 receiving td in addition to 3 rushing yards.

“He always has his team ready to play,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.

Causing further embarrassment, Bad Attitudes could have scored 91 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Steve Spickenreuther left key players like Marvin Harrison and his corresponding 20 points on the bench.

This brings the record for San Quentin Saints to 6-0-1, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 1-6.

Coming up in week 7, San Quentin Saints are at the 2-4-1 The Wondrful Gazonks, where The Wondrful Gazonks are an early 19.4-point underdog, while the 6-1 Squishy Fuzz are at Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 32.3-point underdog.
