Vinny’s Gang were led to their 26 point victory by a 24 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who got by the Seattle Seahawks defense for 208 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 23 rushing yards. With this performance, Rodgers was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 6. They also got help from a 11 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 111 rushing yards.
“We’re tickled to death,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 16 point effort from David Akers, who snuck past the San Francisco 49ers defense for 4 field goals made and 4 extra points. With this performance, Akers was the number 3 ranked place kicker for week 6. They also got help from a 13 point effort from Eli Manning, who snuck past the Cleveland Browns defense for 196 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 13 rushing yards.
“I take full responsibility for this loss,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.
This brings the record for Vinny’s Gang to 2-5, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 1-5-1.
Coming up in week 7, Vinny’s Gang are at the 5-2 The Undergarments, where The Undergarments are an early 22.6-point favorite, while Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are at the 5-2 Twee Twerps, where Twee Twerps are an early 21.4-point favorite.
