Bad Attitudes (63) at Greasy Weasels (80)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 3, 2008) In a week 9 UFFLE showdown, Greasy Weasels beat a strong Bad Attitudes team by a score of 80 to 63, behind the support of 68,427 faithful fans.

Greasy Weasels were led to their 17 point victory by a 21 point effort from Chris Johnson, who got by the Green Bay Packers defense for 89 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 72 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 9. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Marc Bulger, who snuck past the Arizona Cardinals defense for 186 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 32 rushing yards.

“A win is a win,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.

Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 18 point effort from Gus Frerotte, who snuck past the Houston Texans defense for 182 passing yards and 3 passing tds. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Bernard Berrian, who beat the Houston Texans defense for 104 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.

“They wanted it more than we did,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.

This brings the record for Greasy Weasels to 4-6, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 2-8.

Coming up in week 10, Greasy Weasels are at the 4-6 Grid Iron Bullies, where Grid Iron Bullies are an early 23.5-point underdog, while the 5-4-1 The Wondrful Gazonks are at Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 0.4-point underdog.
