Elvis Impersonators were led to their 32 point victory by a 22 point effort from Kurt Warner, who tore apart the Seattle Seahawks defense for 395 passing yards and 1 passing td. With this performance, Warner was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 11. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Michael Turner, who got by the Denver Broncos defense for 81 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds.
“This is the greatest feeling in the world,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 17 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 227 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 1 rushing yards. They also got help from a 9 point effort from Donnie Avery, who got by the San Francisco 49ers defense for 93 receiving yards.
“We didn’t maintain the intensity for the entire 60 minutes,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 9-4, and drops Vinny’s Gang to a record of 3-9-1.
Coming up in week 12, the 9-2-2 Z-Squad are at Elvis Impersonators, where Elvis Impersonators are an early 10.6-point favorite, while the 5-8 Grid Iron Bullies are at Vinny’s Gang, where Vinny’s Gang are an early 1.0-point underdog, while the 1-11-1 Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are at Elvis Impersonators, where Elvis Impersonators are an early 23.2-point favorite, while Vinny’s Gang are at the 6-7 Greasy Weasels, where Greasy Weasels are an early 22-point favorite.
