Grid Iron Bullies (53) at Squishy Fuzz (101)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 17, 2008) In a week 11 UFFLE intra-divisional showdown, Squishy Fuzz embarrassed a hapless Grid Iron Bullies team by a score of 101 to 53, extending the winning streak for Squishy Fuzz to 3 games.

Squishy Fuzz were led to their 48 point victory by a 22 point effort from Marshawn Lynch, who beat the Cleveland Browns defense for 119 rushing yards in addition to 58 receiving yards. With this performance, Lynch was the number 4 ranked running back for week 11. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Marion Barber, who beat the Washington Redskins defense for 114 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 39 receiving yards.

“We’re happy we could pull this one out at the end,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.

Grid Iron Bullies were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from Peyton Manning, who beat the Houston Texans defense for 320 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 1 rushing yards. With this performance, Manning was the number 3 ranked quarterback for week 11. They also got help from a 7 point effort from John Kasay, who snuck past the Detroit Lions defense for 1 field goals made and 4 extra points.

“I’m really proud of our guys,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.

This brings the record for Squishy Fuzz to 10-2-1, and drops Grid Iron Bullies to a record of 5-8.

Coming up in week 12, Grid Iron Bullies are at the 3-9-1 Vinny’s Gang, where Vinny’s Gang are an early 1.0-point underdog, while the 6-6-1 The Wondrful Gazonks are at Squishy Fuzz, where Squishy Fuzz are an early 25.2-point favorite, while Grid Iron Bullies are at the 9-3-1 Twee Twerps, where Twee Twerps are an early 17.7-point favorite, while the 9-2-2 San Quentin Saints are at Squishy Fuzz, where Squishy Fuzz are an early 12-point favorite.
