Grid Iron Bullies (46) at Twee Twerps (70)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 24, 2008) In a week 12 UFFLE rivalry, Twee Twerps embarrassed a hapless Grid Iron Bullies team by a score of 70 to 46, behind the support of 73,263 faithful fans.

Twee Twerps were led to their 24 point victory by a 16 point effort from Steve Smith, who beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 168 receiving yards. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Ryan Longwell, who snuck past the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 3 field goals made and 3 extra points.

“A win is a win,” Twee Twerps coach Bob Filipy said.

Grid Iron Bullies were helped out in a losing cause by a 18 point effort from Peyton Manning, who got by the San Diego Chargers defense for 255 passing yards and 2 passing tds. They also got help from a 9 point effort from Ricky Williams, who snuck past the New England Patriots defense for 21 rushing yards in addition to 19 receiving yards.

“Give them all the credit,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.

Adding salt to the wound, Grid Iron Bullies could have scored 75 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Eric Bell left key players like Kevin Faulk and his corresponding 16 points on the bench.

Twee Twerps took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 9 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 12.

This brings the record for Twee Twerps to 10-4-1, and drops Grid Iron Bullies to a record of 5-10.

Coming up in week 13, the 7-5-3 The Slim Shaggys are at Grid Iron Bullies, where Grid Iron Bullies are an early 15.7-point underdog, while the 4-10-1 Vinny’s Gang are at Twee Twerps, where Twee Twerps are an early 13.7-point favorite.
