Vinny’s Gang were led to their 43 point victory by a 28 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 248 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 36 rushing yards. With this performance, Rodgers was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 12. They also got help from a 19 point effort from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defensive Team.
“We feed off the energy of our fans,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
Grid Iron Bullies were helped out in a losing cause by a 18 point effort from Peyton Manning, who got by the San Diego Chargers defense for 255 passing yards and 2 passing tds. They also got help from a 9 point effort from Ricky Williams, who snuck past the New England Patriots defense for 21 rushing yards in addition to 19 receiving yards.
“The ball just didn’t bounce our way,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
This brings the record for Vinny’s Gang to 4-10-1, and drops Grid Iron Bullies to a record of 5-10.
Coming up in week 13, the 7-5-3 The Slim Shaggys are at Grid Iron Bullies, where Grid Iron Bullies are an early 15.7-point underdog, while Vinny’s Gang are at the 10-4-1 Twee Twerps, where Twee Twerps are an early 13.7-point favorite.
