Squishy Fuzz were led to their 19 point victory by a 28 point effort from Drew Brees, who beat the Green Bay Packers defense for 323 passing yards and 4 passing tds. With this performance, Brees was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 12. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Marshawn Lynch, who got by the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 79 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 25 receiving yards.
“We’re going to use this win as a building block,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
San Quentin Saints were helped out in a losing cause by a 17 point effort from Thomas Jones, who got by the Tennessee Titans defense for 96 rushing yards in addition to 21 receiving yards. They also got help from a 13 point effort from Marques Colston, who snuck past the Green Bay Packers defense for 70 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.
“We didn’t match their intensity,” San Quentin Saints coach Sean Boggess said.
This brings the record for Squishy Fuzz to 12-2-1, and drops San Quentin Saints to a record of 10-3-2.
