The Undergarments were led to their 35 point victory by a 26 point effort from Tony Romo, who beat the San Francisco 49ers defense for 341 passing yards and 3 passing tds. With this performance, Romo was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 12. They also got help from a 15 point effort from the Minnesota Vikings Defensive Team.
“I’m really proud of the way our guys hung in there,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 15 point effort from Joe Flacco, who snuck past the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 183 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 3 rushing yards. They also got help from a 11 point effort from Dwayne Bowe, who snuck past the Buffalo Bills defense for 58 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.
“They outplayed us in every phase of the game,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.
This brings the record for The Undergarments to 8-7, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 1-13-1.
Coming up in week 13, Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are at the 2-13 Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 3.3-point favorite, while the 12-2-1 Squishy Fuzz are at The Undergarments, where The Undergarments are an early 12.9-point underdog.
